Alpheus Bush, born 06 Oct 1808 (calculated) in New Jersey or New York, lived in Erin, Chemung, New York from at least 1850 until his death on 08 Oct. 1866. He was buried in Breesport Baptist Church Cemetery along with his wife, Rebecca, and his daughter Charity. I was unable to find Rebecca's headstone and it is possible it is the broken stone to the left of Alpheus'. The wheat on his gravestone represents "harvest" according to GraveAddiction.com. Notice the sickle tucked into the tied wheat.
